Using my Flex Radio 5000A is great except for the VAC requirement. It is so complicated for the average operator to use that many give up using digital modes. Why can't Flex radio come up with a fix where we do not have to rely on a 3rd party? I am willing to pay any fees to be able to operate PSK31 for example.

We suffer from kleptomania and sometimes have to take something for it.

What is the difficulty?
I use all modes from a 1500 and Logger32 without any trouble
One VAC software is installed you can choose the direction on the Flex setup for VAC.
You only need to remember that one line IN is the other machine Line OUT, this should be simple enough to remember.
The VAC software let you also add lines if needed to send the audio to other devices in the same time (eg your hifi system)
