Gday everyone,
After getting a report of low AM modulation I have been doing some checks on the oscilloscope,
It seems that no matter what I do, I cannot get anything like 100% (lucky to be 50%)
SSB Modulation is very strong
I have varied the carrier power and is now on 12 (seems to be the best)
I am using power sdr v 2.6.4
Is there still faults with AM with the flex1500?

I have same issue here. On ANZAC day there was an "AM Day" locally on 40m. I could hear the other stations OK but gave up on TX. On the setup tabs the Max AM carrier level is 50 - regardless of any other setting (e.g. drive). The manual says the carrier level can be set to max 100, so I must be missing something obvious?
Let me know how you get on.

I am still trying to work up how to get AM working well!
It seems that the output power needs to be turned way down (on the flex) to allow enough "headroom" for the modulation. (25% ?)
This being the case, I would of thought that powerSDR would automatically turn the output down when AM is selected!
Any answers Flex?
