Well, I bought a used Elecraft XV144 transverter Thursday and it is ON the way - though perhaps stuck for the moment in the snow/ice storm in Illinois hihi

I have read the Knowledge Base article on hooking up a transverter with the 1500. I have my keying cable DB9 to phono plug all set up properly and ready to go. I have my PSDR software all set up (as far as I can until the transverter gets here).

I am really excited and stoked about using the 1500 on 2mtrs SSB and digital.

Any other elecraft XV144 users out there with any tips, hints, or possible pot-holes I may run into?

Any ideas on how to speed up that FedEx truck slowly headed my way :-)

I suffer from PDD - Patience Deficit Desease waiting for my new toy ...

I have been using that combination since last year and am very happy with it. See my web page at http://www.qsl.net/kp4md/xv144.htm
The XV144 frequency is stable enough for casual modes, but needs Frequency Stability Modifications for narrow band digital modes.
