I was having choppy receive audio on Flex 3000 using the built in FW port of Dell Laptop
Flex support suggested that it maybe the FW itself, in my laptop

So I purchased a new Firewire card: http://www.sybausa.com/productInfo.php?iid=78
This is the same card with TI XIO2200 Chipset : http://kc.flex-radio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50179.aspx
(Please see under best connectivity) as recommended by Flex

I installed this new card and Win 7 64bit recognizes the card.

However now the FlexRadio firewire driver (DPC checker) says i don't have any hardware installed
The radio is powered up and running.

The error I get:
Driver error: Device is not accessible
Check the driver configuration or device connection

Along with a new FW card i am also using the god 6 pin (both ends) FW cable

As a test, i switch to the built in firewire port on Dell Laptop
I start the DPC checker and it recognizes...no problem
I am using a 6pin to 4pin FW cable as my laptop FW is 4pin port

Any suggestions?
