Receive works on all bands but TX has 5w out on all bands except one band - 40 meters
Both TUN and MOX show a 'signal' on the screen but wattmeter shows zero watts on 40 only.
Anyone have a clue what could be wrong?
Any way to get an actual schematic?

Check to make sure that the "Drive" slider isn't turned down on that band only.....I've had that happen from band to band a few times.....

I had a variant of this problem ten months into my Flex 5000A. I had no problems of any kind on any band except that, all of a sudden, could not get any power out on 80 meters for any mode.

No, my "slider" was not at zero.

One call to Dudley at Flex in Austin quickly led to a diagnosis: a relay of some type had failed. Shipped my radio to Austin. Warranty repair in less than ten days. Got it back. Everything fine.

Keep the name DUDLEY in mind when dealing with Flex. He is a first class guy. Dudley is smart, fast, and knows how to lubricate the internal machinery in Austin.

Slider was set to 100% and no power.
I hear the reed relays click.
Thought that if Rx on 40 works then Tx should also be switched on through relay too, but I guess not.
So thanks for your suggestion re Dudley although I would hate being without it.
