Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my Flex 3K, it was working just fine till yesterday
Suddenly it showed me a pop up message saying :
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

I'm running Powersdr 2.44 on Windows 7 64
I thought that there was a problem on the software so I decided to format my computer and install a fresh copy of Windows and
Power SDR so I did it and the problem persist, Also sometimes when turn on the radio is not even recognized, turning off and on again
Powersdr recognize the radio, now I really don't know if it's a problem with the firewire card or hardware problem in the Flex 3K.

Any suggestions or comments will be highly appreciated because now I can't use my radio

Sounds like you are getting drop outs. Lost connection. Change fire wire cable and or check fire wire card.

Hi yes that was what I thought and after a conversation with the flex support they confirm it
I ordered a new 1394a firewire card and a new granite cable, as soon as I replace both I will let you guys know
How it goes.

SO - hows it going?

Another user having similar problems found it was the Windows Power Plan shutting down the port (sleep mode) that kept killing the Firewire port.

And of course, doing that before stopping the PSDR software means a reset.
