Received following reply from Flex Tech Support

Two suggesions. Win7 machines many times runs better with using the legancy driver instead of the TI driver or the native Win7 FW card driver. So follow this procedure to see if the radio is then recognized.

http://kc.flexradio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50433.aspx?Keywords=legacy

If the radio still is not being fully recognized, the registry of Windows may be confused with the reinstall, so follow this procedure.

1. Go the the Windows Control , then to Programs and Features.

2. Uninstall the FlexRadio driver 4.0.0.xxxx and PowerSDR 2.4.4 , turn the radio off.,

3. REBOOT <= real important

4. Rerun the PowerSDR 2.4.4 installer.

5. Reboot again .

6. Let the computer completely reboot.

7. Turn the radio on , you should receive a New HW is ready to use measage, but this might take up to 5 minutes..

8. Open the FlexRadio icon on your desktop , see if the 3000 is showing up in the Global Settings window..

Tried the above and got following results:

After step 3, I checked Control Panel | Programs and Features and it was removed. however FlexRadio was still in Device Manager.

I Right Clicked | Delete the FlexRadio device and selected delete driver files.

Then rebooted again.

Attempting to run FlexRadio resulted in the following message:
Driver Error: Driver streaming parameter locked.
Check the driver configuration or device connections

Then changed the Firewire driver to Legacy per the KB article and rebooted.

Flex3000 was then visible but attempting to change the radio name from MyProduct resulted in a blue screen.

Going into FlexRadio still showed MyProduct after the reboot but did not attempt to change anything.

Went into PowerSDR and this time is showed the installed FirmWare version (2.0xxx) and prompted to upgrade to 2.1xxxx) Confirmed and got to 9x% and then blue screened again.

Now each time I try to start PowerSDR, I get a Blue Screen with IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL on OHCI1394.sys.
