I have opened the flexradio .mdb file using microsoft access, and I see I can open tables one of which is entitled 'BandText' table. Within the table there are various values including a name and transmit column - with values 'true' or 'false'. I can change the name values to reflect the UK spectrum and I can change the transmit values to 'true' or 'false'.

Does anyone know if changing the transmit value to 'true' or 'false', actually changes the transmit capability of the radio? At the moment I am only using the software in demo mode as I am yet to get a SDR1000 radio.

I have been told before that the values that control "out of band transmitting" are not contained in the BandText table in the PowerSDR.mdb file.

I'll have to let Eric comment more on this.

Tim is right.  Those values in the database juse determine the color of the VFO Text area in order to more readily discern where transmitting is acceptable.  The actual check for transmitting is deeper in the code.
