Hi,

is it possible to reduce Blowers noise?

It is not very comfortable sitting beside the SDR with such a noisy blower.

So wonder if the blower could be switched off during receive or at least reducing the speed in order to reduce the noise.

Any ideas ?

Hi, If you set the fan at 45 instead of the default 40, the fan will not run at full bore unless it gets realy hot. And the fan may even turn down so it is hard to hear when you are just listening.

Flex 3k blower noise - reducing

In meantime I replaced the original blower by Silenx 60x60x25 , 8dBA 1500 RPM, 10cfm

Thats a real difference in between.

But now a´m thinking about performance and asking

"What´s the save temperatur max- range ( polling with shift-ctrl -I) ?
