Hello,
as you can see on this picture:
http://www.webalice.it/cococosti/spur_20m.jpg
I have a trouble with my Flex 5000A.
When I TX in all modes and all bands (not only 20m, as shown in the picture), the Flex gets big noise after TX period.
This noise sometimes lasts about 1 minute and hasn't a defined amount of time.
It seems that PowerSDR raise the volume of both signals and noise.
I tried to use several versions of PowerSDR (2.1RC3, 2.0.22, 2.0.16).
I have not tried with previous version (before 2.0.16).
I had also Flex 1500 and Flex 3000 and this trouble has never happened.
The model S/N is 0410-2703,
firmware 2.0.15.6
trx: 0310-0067 (26N)
pa: 0310-0049 (28I)
rfio: 0210-0002 (34C).

Does someone know some trick for beat this trouble?
Or it needs to go to the factory?

Jacob,
In my personal experiance, I have never seen this problem.. Although it is unlikely a software problem, try doing a database reset back to factory defaults, and the minimum re-configuration to test for this problem.
Try with just a dummy load on ANT 1. Also try the test with the drive set to zero.

If the problem persists, You may wish to contact Flex about a possible hardware problem..

Hello,
after tests suggested on this thread, I have not resolved, because if I turn off the Noise Blanker, the problem still persist. Only if I use dummy load, I don't have troubles. I have performed several Factory Reset, but no way to come out. The last test will be a new WinXP SP3 Installation with only PowerSDR, but I'm hopeless, because I think that could be a relay trouble, as suggested by tech support last days.
I have also tried to receive with RX IN and transmit with ANT 1, 2 or 3: neither in this way I resolve.
