Essentially, I am using a Pixel Technologies RF PRO-1A active HF Loop for receive through the "XVRX" port and plan on using a MFJ-1788 antenna via the "PA" port for TX.

However, whenever I turn off PowerSDR (v2.0.22) then restart it, both TX & RX are back to using the "PA" port. As I am using an active antenna for RX, I will NOT want TX RF to reach it, hence my selection.

Question: It is probably very simple so I must be blind, but how can I tell PowerSDR to memorize my antenna port selection settings?

This is a problem in the 2.0.22 version .    I beleive that this was corrected in the RC3 version ..

Dudley... a few quick follow-up questions:

1. As I am running 2.0.22, are there are precautions I need to do before installing 2.1.2 RC3?

2. Can I install 2.1.3 RC3 into another directory so that I can revert to 2.0.22 if I encounter problems?

3. Lastly, can I "import" 2.0.22 settings and frequencies into my 2.1.3 RC3 setup?

Yes you can install 2.1.RC3 and still have 2.0.22 installed... Each version will be installed in its own directory by default and not interfere with the other. The both use the same firmware version.

I would set up 2.1.RC3 and test it before attempting to import setting from 2.0.22..

But rather than importing the 2.0.22 database directly into RC3, I would use K9DUR's SDRdatatransfer utility to import you settings into the new database..

Thanks Al... I'll install into another directory then use the database transfer utility ;-)

FYI... 2.1.2 RC3 memorizes the antenna selection info ;-)
