If you plan to use or test alpha versions of PowerSDR, this is the Forum where you must discuss issues, share information and ask questions of the FlexRadio Development team. This is a condition of use when you choose to use SVN versions of PowerSDR. As always, bugs are to be reported using the Bug Tracker
We really appreciate your assistance in helping us with testing PowerSDR software. It is because of you that the software gains performance and advanced features at such a rapid pace. We couldn't do this with out your help and assistance. In exchange for providing the latest cutting edge software to you to use freely, all we ask is that you use this forum to communicate software development concerns and not the Reflector.
Using the Forums for development discussions is as convenient as using the Reflector if you subscribe to a forum. Subscribing to a Forum provides the ability for you to receive automatic e-mail notification, just like the Reflector, if someone adds or updates a topic to the Forum. Since you are only notified when there are changes, this provides the convenience of not having to manually check the Forums to see if there are new topics that you might find of interest.
For step-by-step instructions on how to subscribe to a Forum in order to get e-mail alerts, refer to the following Knowledge Base article:

You may as why discussions of SVN versions of the code are prohibited on the Reflector. This is due to several factors outlined below.
1.) Potential new FlexRadio users get the incorrect impression that the PowerSDR software is buggy and not functional. This is not the case with released version of PowerSDR, but new subscribers to the Reflector do not always know the difference between the SVN alpha & beta software and the stable production releases. This incorrect impression has led to people not purchasing a SDR and missing out of the radio experience of a lifetime.
2.) The Reflector has no way of tracking and organizing multiple postings on a topic known as a thread. These threads makes it easy to follow a discussion topic from beginning to end.
3.) The Reflector can not display SVN discussion topics in a organized manner. You have to filter through other Reflector posts to find the information you are looking for. The Forums organizes topics by date and displays the in a readable top down fashion.
4.) Reflector posts are short lived. The lifetime of a reflector post is usually 48 hours. Forum topics can continue for long periods of times.
5.) Forum topics are backed up and archived to removable media for greater data survivability. The Reflector information is not preserved in this manner.
