| I am using a flex5000A and a quad core windows7 machine with 8 GB ram. I keep having issues with the audio through the VAC keeps getting distorted. I can pop VAC off/on and it clears up. ALso stop and retarting the console will clear it. What a pain this is. I have a neighbor running XP PRO and has the same problem with his 5000A. I am not sure if it is the POWER SDR Software, The 5000A or even the windows 7 software. HELP  73 NQ4A Jon / Richmond

Hi,
Very surprised there are no replies to this post as this is a very common problem.
What Firewire card are you using? is it PCI-E? Do you use an onboard graphics controller? What other programs/software do you use at the same time as the flex?
