| The Receive meter in my 1K reads aprox 4-5 S units low. Is there any way to adjust this? Thanks...

You need to rerun the level calibration routine... See page 35 of the 1.8.0 SDR-1000 operating Manual which can be downloaded from http://support.flex-radio.com/Downloads.aspx?id=112
