| Hi Flexers, I wish to modify the stock band labels to those relevant to Region 1. The KB points to instructions and there is a .mdb file to d/l with the mods fo region 1 already in place. So far so good. OK, so the KB article directs you to open a file called PowerSDR.mdb which is fine if you have this file. Search of hard disk can't find it. Help 73 de Simon M0BOX

You are using an KB article that is referencing an older version of PowerSDR.
Previous versions of PowerSDR used a MS Access database (*.mdb file). Newer version use an XML text file called database.xml.
The data contained in them is the same, just formatted differently. You can use any text editor to edit the BandText section in the XML file to display different "alpha tages" for the band labels.

The file you need to edit is database.xml. With 1.18.x Psdr it is likely located in the install directory. With 2.0 versions (beta) it is likely located in %appdata%\Flex Radio Systems\PowerSDR 2.xxx
Although you can edit the database file with a test editor like note pad, you may wish ( its a huge file ) to look at using Micorsoft's 'XML Notepad 2007'
