| Hello all. I just installed the Powersdr 2.0 software but am getting an error. I believe it is because I don't have the required firmware version installed. But for the life of me I can't find the new firmware file. It's not listed on the main page where it SHOULD be and I have searched all over the forums and download section. I'm sure I'm just missing it and am hoping someone here can post the URL. Please help. Thanks.

Beta software and firmware is NEVER listed on the main web page. That is for currently released or production software only.
If you were subscribed to the FlexEdge reflector, as everyone who is using beta software should be, then you would have seen this question answered about 50 times.
The firmware binaries are located on your PC if you installed PowerSDR v2.0.0 using the integrated installer.
Look in the My Documents (or documents depending on your OS) folder. You will find a folder called FLEX Firmware. The binaries are located there.
I assume your next question will be how to install the firmware. That is covered in the KB article How to Update the FLEX-5000/3000 Firmware. Just skip Phase I of the instructions

Ok, I found it. Thanks. A few things while I'm at it.
1) I just got on the flexedge so I didn't see 50 post about it ahead of time. My bad?
2) Copying the firmware to the PC during install but NOT informing the user of such (unless I missed it) is a very bad idea. I have never seen that approach taken before.
3) The beta software and any necessary files, like the firmware update, SHOULD be listed and linked on the main web site right along with the current release software. That would make everything nice and easy and cut down on the stupid questions from noobs like me right?
4) I'm detecting an attitude in your email. I know this is common with Moderators but do us (and yourself) a favor and drop it. It is uncalled for and serves no purpose. If I misinterpreted this in your email, I apologize, please forgive me and disregard.
Thanks again for the help. I just got my Flex 5000a and the support you guys have given has been great.
