Not yet. It is a planned feature after the V/U module is released.

The earliest will be PowerSDR 2.1.x as PowerSDR 2.0.x has been "closed" to new features.

On the V/U module page they specifically say that PL tones will be added in 2.1

I am receiving my Flex 5000 in a few days with a V5K. Unless there is an alpha of 2.1 out there I will be sticking to repeaters that don't have PL tones I guess.

There will not be a PowerSDR v2.1.x beta until PowerSDR v2.0.x is released. It is a sequential thing.

Also note that there is a deviation issue with FM so when operating FM, regardless if you are using the V/U or HF, it isn't going to sound very well. In addition to the addition of PL tones, FM is getting an overhaul in 2.1 as well.

Tim,

Do you have a timeline on the release of 2.1 with the FM makeover and the PL tone addition?

Any more information that you can share on the new features of 2.1 and bug fixes that will be implemented in 2.1?

There is no ETA for PowerSDR 2.1 even being discussed internally until 2.0.x is released. The next beta, 2.0.17 hopefully will be ready in a few weeks, as there is a LOT of major stuff being put into it. It is undergoing internal acceptance testing now. The next step is to release it to the internal alpha/beta test team for a week. If all is well, then it will be released as a public beta.

Only after 2.0.x is released will the final feature set for 2.1 be set in "sandstone"

I have a general idea what is planned for 2.1, but I am not allowed to discuss that publicly until the final decisions are made by Greg and Gerald. It's primary focus will be the V/U interoperability and usability. That includes FM, PL tones and more stuff.

I have found that many V/U customers are not happy yet, just as in my case.  I only discovered the FM problems recently since I operate CW only and even with it, some things are acting strange such as the annoying fan changing speeds constantly depending on the V/U interrnal temperature.
Anyway, after talking to a friend in Italy on 20 meters, he says the Flex Radio V/U is not allowed there because it cannot meet their European standards?

Update:  Talking to a station in Texas the other day, was told Flex Radio may make a monetary settlement for anyoine with the V/U install since they are unable to continue with it.  I would like to know so that I can return to using my Elecraft transverters or purchase a Kenwood TS2000.  I was hoping for a "one box" radio in my shack for 160 M through 70 CM.

We suffer from kleptomania and sometimes have to take something for it.
