Monitor button greyed out when AM mode is selected. Using SDR ver 1.18.6

Also, if I turn off the flex 5000a and turn it back on the PC doesn't seem to redetect that it was turned back on. I have to reboot the pc. Any ideas? Thanks, Wes K1GTX

Thanks

The monitor is not available in modes which use both sidebands, like AM.

If the PC is failing to recognize the radio on restart of the FLEX-x000, you can try unplugging and plugging in the Firewire cable. This is usually a problem with the Firewire card not "waking up" properly. Especially with Win7. You also may need to update your Firewire driver. The latest released version is 3.5.0.7171
