| I have just got my Flex-5000A and trying to install the new ver. 1.18.5 When trying to install the service pack 1 for Framework, I get a error encounter a pronblem and did not install. We are running XP Home on a HP with 4 gb of ram. I can't get the SDR software installed tell I get the .Net Framework service pack 1 running. Any help out there?? Richard - K9IVL

Contact FlexRadio support directly and talk to Dudley.
It sounds like you have a corrupted .NET 1.x install and it is not the easiest thing to correct, as you can not just re-install it and it fixes the problem. You can thank Mr. Gates for that one.

| I got it fixed and installed and running just fine so far. I did a recovery on the computer and then tried to install the 3.5 Framework it installed just fine. Then all new downloads of Flex programs and Vac 4.09 and installed that too. So now I have to what tell tomorrow for the Flex-5000 A to get here by UPS. Thanks for the support info # and who to talk too.
