Experimenting with the Softrock radio I have noticed that using PowerSDR I have a lot of noise in the audio, however if I use the simple program Rocky the audio is clear.  Have I missed a parameter setting in PowerSDR?  Help and/or suggestions.

The software sometimes chooses poorly when deciding on which driver to use with unsupported soundcards.  Try using MME or DirectSound under the Setup Form -> Audio tab and see if that makes a difference.  There are many other factors like AGC and DSP options when comparing our audio to other programs.  Depending on the environment, one programs set of defaults may sound better than anothers.  Good luck and have fun.
