| Hello all, I purchased a Flex-5000a a few months ago and have to say that it has been a complete joy to operate! Here is my setup: HP DV6000 Desktop (Intel Q9650 with 8GB Ram) Windows Vista Ultimate x64 Onboard Firewire PowerSDR 1.18.5 Flex Firewire Driver 3.5.0.7171 Com0com (COM6/16 - Com7/17) VAC POWERSDR - 2048 buffer / 196k
Everything has been running ok since I installed it. I run into the standard PowerSDR "locking up" issues as I play with settings but nothing that cannot be recovered. I am using VAC and com0com sucessfully with Ham Radio Delux DM780 software to provide digital modes and all is well. However, enter the problem... Last night I wanted to run SSB and went to TX. The radio keyed just fine and everything looked normal, but there was no TX audio! I tested the HEiL microphone on another radio and it worked just fine. I checked all of the settings in powerSDR but could not find any reason as to why TX MIC audio would be suppressed?
Can anyone recommend settings to look at? Is it possible the MIC port on the radio is toast? Thanks, Adam W4GOV

It is probably a software/firmware issue. You should contact FlexRadio support to triage the problem (support@flex-radio.com)
