hi, when running my sdr-1000 i'm getting really strange power readings. the power readings on my autek peak reading meter seem normal, but the fwd power readings on my power sdr meter hardly moves. every now and then it jumps to well over 100 watts and then goes back to zero. someone mentioned a bridge diode is bad. has anyone seen this? do you have a part number and designation within the sdr-1000? thank-you, john

John,
Looking at the PA schmatic, the bridge diodes are labels D1 & D2 and are 1n5711's ..

Good Luck

al, thx so much for the info and replying to my post so quickly. i'm going to check those diodes and hopefully thats the problem. i'm aslo getting alot of relay clicking when i transmit, so something is a miss on the PA board. i tried just about everything including 4 different mics, different versions of power sdr etc etc. same problem. thank-you for supporting us all!!! you're a great help.

sincerely, john ki4ucw
