| I'm interested in testing new/changed features offered by the developers in the various branches. Is there a way to see development notes for a branch? I'm specifically trying to find what are the new or changed features being worked on in the branch, which forms are they located on, and what is the expected use or behavior. In TortoiseSVN the Revision Graph has a Logmessage when you roll over each revision. The Test branch is particularly interesting. But the Logmessage is short and sometimes cryptic to the uninformed (me). For instance, I don't know what the PAL system is. 73

| Maybe I didn't ask the right question.... What's the best process for finding out what is being worked on in a development branch? I'm a software developer in other fields. Should I just peruse the source code and diffs on revisions? Are there source code structure overview docs? Have I missed discussion about helping with testing of development branches in other forums? Is anybody out there?

Bill,
One thing that I do is use the "Repro Browser" and "Show log" functions of SVN.. You can see all of the public branches and get a feel for a few things before they hit the trunk branch.. Not exactly the inner development circle.... Of course you could down load any of the source code in any of the public branches ....

| Al, Using "Show log" is helpful. It puts all the log messages for a particular branch in one place. But, of course, it doesn't have information about what the new / changed features are that should be evaluated and feedback provided on. I am glad to see there is a convient way to Report Bugs. The developers can easily get those reports. I know how much time and perseverance it takes for software development. I'm very happy that we have volunteer developers actively working on making improvements. Thanks
