scan capability suggestion

Hello,

So far i know PowerSDR software or Flex 5000A system don't have any capability to scan any mémory or band scan or between frequency edge scan like other transceiver are able to do ????

For ham's love to make some surveillance away from transceiver like many on 6M like me
it's is a extrem very important feature i will missed.

Flex5000A will not be able to alert me by any band opening if i'm a little away from shack.
Sure some will tell me i'm to be in shack to see what happen. LOL What i have not need to do before to be alerted of any 6M band opening in any room of my home or in my garage.

I don't think it's a big problem to bring this very important feature inside PowerSDR.
I' m just surprise why this feature don't exist to day. Curious !!! High Tech without scanning capability ???

I want suggest a I/Q Button

HI, frequently I must go to I/Q to analogic VAC for CW and RTTY operation, it's very difficult go to Setup-Audio and enable disable a flag to I/Q, it's very friendly to make a little button under VAC button of PowerSDR console, looking my button concept image.
I hope to take this new entry on next version 2.2.4

Non-iambic keyer option request

I would like to see future versions of PowerSDR offer the option to use a non-iambic single-lever keyer for CW. I would think this would be easy to implement and would eliminate my need for an external keyer since I cannot get the hang of iambic.

ATU default option request

I would like to see the next version of PowerSDR include an option to set the ATU to stay active when the band is switched instead of having to re-activate it with each band switch. Thanks.

I got playing around the last couple of days with C# and the Flex Power SDR. I now have a prototype ( to see if I can do it) program that reads the freq, display temp bar, and has a rotating carousel of buttons that changes my flex to my favorite PSK freqs.

The buttons in the carousel changes the freq, bandwidth, and the mode of operations to DIGU with one quick click.

Looking for any ideas for features people would like to have. This a program that requires DDUtil to connect to the Flex to send CAT commands. If there is a CAT command for a feature I can program a button for it.

Ideas:
Feature to inport current preset features
Set up a different preset database, so I don't loose my presets when I upgrade.
Save button that reads the settings of the current freq, filters and etc.
Research setting TX Profile bandwidth for the different PSK modes.
Port the program over to Linux for the Linux users out there.
Make the program easy for non-computer type users

This list could go on for ever.... :)

PS: This program is fast.

Features request

I want to signal to staff FlexRadio a function in my opinion interesting, the ability to add next to the button interface VAC switching I / Q Analog, thanks to this button you can switch quickly as possible if necessary between the two modes without having to go every time in the setup. What do you think? in a future release will find this button?

Any Flex programmers out there? My self I am C# developer mainly deal with websites, but looking into developing apps for the Flex radio. Thinking about doing the apps in silverlight in hopes it will be cross platform.

Looking for any docs and .net API's for talking to the Flex radios

I am trying to figure out how SDR and Flex software works. I would like to learn to start out with something simple: how to query the Flex for the current frequency. Is the Flex software like a server? Maybe I can make a service call? Is there any CAT .net examples on the net anywhere?

Just need to be pointed in the right directions. Maybe a Forum or blogs....

Source version of PowerSDR 1.18.3 completely 64-bit

Source code visual studio 2008 project for PowerSDR.

This really has no practical application, I just wanted to see if I could do it. This project has all the GPL source files for PowerSDR 1.18.3 (all projects), and is converted to build and run completely as a 64 bit application. It was easy to convert to 64-bit, mainly the input/output pointers in audio.cs needed to be long*. I have only used this in receive mode. I would not use this for anything other than experimentation. I only have sdr-1000 and don't know what happens on a newer model.

visual studio 2005 data binding example

This is an example of a port of the powersdr console to visual studio 2005. I'm hoping this will help someone if they start a port of their own. (The original forum post has been deleted, along with all the other posts when flex set up this new forum software.)

A lot of work went into converting the settings dialog to a more object oriented design that makes extensive use of data binding to arbitrary objects. This is a very nice feature in vs2005.

What is the URL of the Active PowerSDR reflector?

What is the URL of the Active PowerSDR reflector? I have the latest "dot net" environment on my system (currently being used for in-house development) and have downloaded all 500MB+ of the source/binaries/etc.

I expect that I will need help when I attempt to compile it. (I did find the script to compile the source along with a couple of caveats.) Once I get it to compile, then I can think about making mods.
